So don’t worry, it will never harm your health. Kadhai comes with Vented Glass Lid so that you can easily watch cooking progress without lifting the lid. The small steam vent releases the right amount of steam during cooking to avoid boilovers but still allows for excellent heating and circulation of moisture. Kadhai contains ergonomic riveted bakelite handles to provide a comfortable grip while cooking. Handles are not directly screwed with the clay body. It is attached with the help of a steel ring, which makes Kadhai more strong and long-lasting. This Clay Kadhai can be used on the Gas stove.

Tips to Maintain VAGHBHATT Clay Kadhai/Organic Mitti Kadhai

  • Always season the clay cookware before you cook for the first time in it.
  • Don’t use soap or detergent to clean clay utensils. Clay being porous will absorb the soap, and when you cook the food next time, soap will dissolve in your food and can be poisonous.
  • To clean the pot, first, soak it into the water for a while and then scrub it using Gram(Besan) Flour or Wheat(Gehoon) Flour or Baking soda or Salt.
  • Don’t pour water into the hot clay pots because the sudden temperature change may lead to cracks in the body. So please wait for it to cool down, then soak in water, and then wash.
  • Don’t heat an empty pot.
  • Do not overheat the clay cookware. Just cook your food on low to medium flame. Overheating may cause cracks in cookware.
