The Omega Deluxe Granite series has a five-layer unique spatter-coated surface that has looked new for a long time. It is also metal-spoon friendly. These five layers of non-stick coating last three times longer, free from harmful chemicals, thus making us healthier and assuring a stain-free interior.

• Topcoat: The highly efficient PTFE coating gives the cookware a unique granite finish, making it more attractive.
• Reinforced Spatter coat (2 layers): Spatter coat helps make the cookware look new for a long time. This coat ensures that the cookware is metal spoon friendly and convenient to use.
• Intermediate Coat: This coat helps in even heating & also in retaining non-stick properties and making it durable.
• Base Coat: This coating works like adhesive between non-stick coating and substrate. It offers excellent abrasion resistance to the coating.

Tips to Maintain Prestige Omega Deluxe Granite Non Stick Cookware Set

1. Condition before the first use with a thin smear of cooking oil.
2. For best cooking results, cook over low to medium heat. High heat can burn food, waste energy, and cause surface discoloration after some time.
3. Use silicone or nylon spatula to avoid any damage to the non-stick coating. Do not use sharp objects like knives, forks, wire brushes, and metal spoons with sharp corners/edges.
4. When on a gas cooktop, use a burner nearest in size to the diameter of the pan bottom to avoid hot spots, over-heating of sidewalls and handles.
5. Wash when cooled, do not place the heated pan directly on any wet surface to prevent thermo-shock and keep the coating safe.
6. Avoid dragging the cookware to protect the cooking surface when using it on a ceramic or glass-topped cooking surface.
7. Avoid placing pans one inside another to avoid scratches on the inner side of cookware.
8. Clean your cookware with soapy water using the sponge scrubber after each use to prevent oil deposition.
